Students audition for parts in the annual musical production of a hit musical to be performed in the Spring.
An informational meeting on the H.S. Musical is usually given in early December. Auditions for the musical (vocal, dance, and acting) are also completed in mid-December. The casting of the musical is then announced BEFORE Winter vacation.
The musical rehearses from January-March, with the performances taking place mid-March.
Students can participate in the club in a multitude of ways: actors, pit orchestra, stage crew, costumes, props, sound, lights, student directors, and many other ways! There are countless ways for students to get involved! Each and every role that makes a musical production what it is, is valued and recognized for the importance they play in a production!
Parents can also get involved by: volunteering time on Saturdays for set construction, preparing/serving food for the students during "tech. week", helping repair/make adjustments on costumes, selling tickets, and helping obtain Ads for the program.
