SPRING 2013 - Disney's Beauty and The BeastInformational Meeting: Tuesday, November 20th @ 3:00pm, HSE Chorus Room (Immediately following this meeting will be an opportunity for you to receive help in choosing appropriate music and how to prepare it. See audition requirements below under vocal auditions) CHARACTER BREAKDOWN (click here) **Information for students auditioning for "CHIP" (click here)** Vocal Auditions: Monday, November 26th - HSE Chorus Room SIGN-IN: 3:30pm AUDITIONS BEGIN: 4:00pm (*ALL MUST ATTEND) Everyone auditioning must prepare 16-32 bars (measures) of a song from a musical. Broadway / Off-Broadway shows are preferred but anything in that style is acceptable. Be sure to bring sheet music (clearly marked) for the pianist to your audition. It's best to have the copy of sheet music in a binder or book. There will be no a cappella (without piano accompaniment) singing allowed. You can use music from Vocal Selections of shows and you can also purchase individual songs from websites such as www.musicnotes.com. Any questions?
